Scott is approachable, highly visible, attentive to details and has a passion for an exceptional member experience. He has the ability to analyze and execute immediate action to ensure high levels of service in all areas of the club. His strong background and expertise is with high level food and beverage service, allowing him to pass this knowledge on to fellow employees therefore building a strong team to ensure high member satisfaction. These extraordinary service experiences spread through every department in his club. Scott has over 20 years' experience as a General Manager and almost 30 years in the hospitality industry. He attained Certified Club Manager status in 2005, has since been recertified 3 times and is now in the CMAA Honor Society. Scott has previously served as the President of the Petersburg Rotary Club, is a Paul Harris Fellow and served the CMAA Virginias Chapter board of directors. His career has taken him from small clubs wanting to transition to the next level to larger clubs looking to become a premier destination. He has a history of mentoring employees and encourages their professional growth through CMAA course work as well as working closely with them to change any possible weaknesses into strengths. All of these qualities combine to make an extraordinary member experience throughout every department of the club. Scott wants all members to feel as if the club is their home away from home. He has managed several multi-million-dollar renovations including clubhouses, golf courses, tennis facilities, fitness facilities, pool centers and other family activity areas. He has an extremely high attention to detail which results in successful completion of projects on time and within budget. Scott has been involved from conception to completion on all club projects. He has a hands-on approach immersing himself in all details in order to ensure the greatest possible outcome.
