"Over his 30-year career, Rolf Eckert has held executive leadership positions in all areas of city and country club operations, and large-scale food & beverage operations. He has a proven record of delivering ""brilliant service"" and exceptional financial performance at some of the world’s most exclusive private clubs, resorts, and cruise lines, and currently as General Manager Providence Country Club. Rolf is a highly visible and courageous executive with a “Panic Free” approach, as featured by Club & Resort Business’ “The Road Back” segment. This approach was tested in 2020, when he became General Manager at RHCC. RHCC exceeded overall revenue goals for 2020 and 2021 by $1.5 million despite the pandemic, and all staff remained employed during indoor dining bans. Rolf believes that clubs must offer fresh programming and amenities and create a “fear of missing out” to attract and retain members. He leverages his experience as a cruise ship executive aboard ships including the Queen Mary 2, to bring that cruise ship atmosphere to clubs under his leadership, as highlighted in Lake Wylie Magazine’s feature article “The Cruise Ship in Your Backyard”. As Interim GM at the Army and Navy Club in Washington, DC, Rolf secured the club’s Platinum Club status and managed extensive renovations. While at Carmel Country Club, Rolf was the principal leader for the annual country music concerts featuring top-billed talent such as Cole Swindell and Old Dominion and unique alternative dining options such as the restored 1946 Chevy wood-fired food truck (as featured in C&RB’s Chef to Chef magazine). Rolf is a family man and strives to give his team a healthy work-life balance. During his free time, he loves to spend time with his family: wife, Jen, children Maximilian (age 14) and Charlotte (age 12). The entire family loves to wake surf, hike and play golf. Professed “foodies”, Rolf and his wife Jen enjoy exploring new restaurants, love to cook together and enjoy the occasional homebrewed beer." CURRENTLY: GENERAL MANAGER, PROVIDENCE COUNTRY CLUB
