Charlie graduated from the University of South Carolina school of Hospitality, Restaurant, Tourism Management in 2003. Since then he has worked at clubs in Georgia, South Carolina, and presently in North Carolina. Shortly after graduation for a period of six years, he owned and operated his own restaurant and then returned to private club management. Since then he has held roles in Food and Beverage, as an HR Manager, as a Clubhouse Manager while working at Oldfield Club in Okatie SC for nearly seven years. During that time he earned his Level 2 Certifcation from The Court of Master Sommeliers. For the past four plus years he has been the General Manager at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, NC where he earned his CCM in 2019. Charlie enjoys the feel of small to midsize clubs that allow for the interaction with members and one on one service opportunities. He is an advocate for work-life harmony and having fun with people you enjoy being around as you get the job done. He loves to travel, is an avid homebrewer.
