During her tenure at Sedgefield she served as Controller, Membership Director, and General Manager. Her career in private clubs began at Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet, SC. In 2011, Beverly led Sedgefield Country Club through the transition from member-owned to privately-held when the club was acquired by Raleigh-based McConnell Golf, owner of private clubs throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, and Tennessee. In 2013, Cardinal Golf & Country Club, also in Greensboro, merged with Sedgefield and Beverly assumed leadership of the combined properties. In 2016, Beverly became the Triad Regional Director for McConnell Golf when a third property, Old North State Club, was added to her portfolio. in 2022, she transitioned to a corporate role with McConnell Golf as Director of Talent Recruiting and Development for the company's 14 and growing private clubs. Beverly sat on the Carolinas Chapter CMAA Board of Directors from 2016 through 2022. She served as Membership Chair and Education Chair before rotating through the officer chairs and led the Chapter as Chairman in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. With a passion for growth, knowledge, personal and professional development, Beverly remains a strong advocate for CMAA and the Carolinas Chapter. The apples of Beverly's eye are her niece and goddaughter, Skyler, and Skyler's two children with husband Tyler. Their annual beach trips are one of the many highlights each year. Keeping family at the center, she also enjoys annual glamping trips with her siblings each fall. In no particular order, Beverly enjoys golf, yoga, meditation, travel, and being adventurous with food and wine. CURRENTLY: DIRECTOR OF TALENT, RECRUITING AND DEVELOPMENT, MCCONNELL GOLF
