Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall execution of our Gaslight Grill, The Post Market Café and Men's Grill. Ensures that our members are having excellent experiences in these areas on a consistent basis and creates a work environment that our employees enjoy being a part of and can thrive in. Hold managers accountable to our training standards for new hires, as well as on-going food and beverage knowledge training for all staff. Manage the financial aspects of the business and oversee scheduling and payroll. Works closely with the Chef on menu design and creating programs to increase revenues through utilization in these areas.

Job Tasks/Duties:

  • Oversees daily operation of the Men's Grill, the Gaslight Grill and the Post Market Café.
  • Develops and implements an ongoing marketing program to increase business.
  • Develops and continually updates and refines policy and procedure manuals for service staff to increase quality and to control costs.
  • Plans operating budget for restaurants and takes corrective action when necessary.
  • Develops wine list and beverage promotions.
  • Maintains an inventory of Men's Grill, Gaslight Grill and Café and ensures that they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Responsible for staff hiring, training and continued development.
  • Oversee payroll and timesheets while ensuring accuracy.
  • Works with Chef on menu development and food quality.
  • Assures that local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
  • Attends staff, management and House committee meetings, providing regular reports on state of the restaurants.
  • Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by the Clubhouse Manager.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A four-year college degree in Hospitality
  • Five years of supervisory experience in the Restaurant, Hotel or Private Club Industry
  • Significant experience running all aspects of a Food and Beverage operation including budgeting, payroll, revenue projections, hiring and other related aspects to running a successful business.
