Program Speaker: Cam Willox 

With over 15 years of experience on the operations side of country clubs in the Midwest and Southwest, Cam's background offers a unique perspective when working with clubs. Whether addressing the need to create efficiencies in the day-to-day operations of member dining, organizing a bar to enhance member experiences, preparing clubs to host major banquet-style events, or even managing something as small as creating a functional snack shack on the course, Cam excels in finding ways to create fully functional spaces for both members and employees to enjoy.

Having been involved in numerous long-term improvement projects at various courses across the country, Cam possesses extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and enjoys navigating the different challenges that arise during the completion of long-term improvement plans.

Program Summary:  

  • Brief introduction on Boelter and who they are and how they work with Clubs.
  • Where Companies like Boelter can help clubs/ who brings companies like them in and at what stages. 
  • Decision making processes—design trends—top capital enhancements they are currently seeing.
  • Challenges in a remodel and questions to ask to help avoid the challenges.
  • Board member overinvolvement.
  • General food service trends and how they fit with the Club Lifestyle.
  • Creating functionality in a design and the process of design.
  • Go through a Scenario.

Program Schedule:

  • 10:30 am – Arrival/Registration/Networking
  • 11:00 am -12:00 pm – No "I" in Team, only "WE" – Stormy Flinchum / Q&A – Open dialogue
  • 12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch ($25 inclusive)
  • 1:00-2:00 pm – Cam Willox - Best Practices, Challenges and Design Trends for Capital Enhancements
  • 2:00 pm – Tour club and depart
