Carolinas Chapter Announces Silver Sponsor: Smith Turf & Irrigation

Charlotte, NC – The Carolinas Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America is pleased to announce the addition of Smith Turf & Irrigation (STI) as a Silver Sponsor in the Carolinas Sponsorship Program. This partnership represents a one-year, $10,000 commitment to support the Carolinas Chapter and the Carolinas Club Foundation (CCF) in its efforts to deliver outstanding education, networking opportunities and services to its members.

The sponsorship will continue to enable the Carolinas Chapter to provide exceptional value to its members, as expressed by Chapter President, Tammy Roys, CCM, CCE: “The Carolinas Chapter is extremely excited about our new partnership with Smith Turf & Irrigation. Both of our organizations are leaders in our industry, so our partnership is a fantastic opportunity for us to continue to grow and educate our members on their clubs’ golf course maintenance needs.”

Smith Turf & Irrigation’s partnership with the Carolinas Chapter is a natural fit, as their roots run deep in the Carolinas. Founded in 1925 by E. J. Smith as The Toro Company’s third authorized distributor, the business was built on his four basic principles: integrity, innovative products, exceptional service and an absolute commitment to their customers’ success. Those four elements became the benchmarks of the company and formed the foundation upon which Smith Turf & Irrigation was built. Four generations later, those timeless principals still steer this family owned and operated golf course maintenance and irrigation equipment distributorship.

“The value propositions in partnering with STI are extensive,” says company President Steve Smith. “We offer the finest product choices across our market segments, as well as a wealth of knowledge, experience, invaluable resources and a lifelong history of unmatched customer service and support.”

As a Silver Sponsor, Smith Turf & Irrigation will be the presenting sponsor of the Spring Education Program, to be held at their facility in Charlotte, NC, on March 12, 2013.
