Carolinas Chapter Announces Gold Sponsor: Syngenta

Charlotte, NC – The Carolinas Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America is pleased to announce the addition of Syngenta as a Gold Sponsor in the Carolinas Sponsorship Program. This partnership represents a three-year commitment by Syngenta to support the Carolinas Chapter and the Carolinas Club Foundation (CCF) in its efforts to deliver outstanding education, networking opportunities and services to its members.

“With the Syngenta US headquarters located in the heart of North Carolina, it makes perfect sense that the Carolinas Chapter and Syngenta work together,” stated Chapter Director, Clint Wood, CCM, CCE. “Globally, Syngenta invests a billion dollars annually on research and development. They are committed to assisting golf courses in reducing their environmental footprint, improving their profitability and maintaining course quality. With this significant investment in technology, they can certainly help all of us not only maintain the value of the course, but also grow the game of golf.” Clint further expressed how fortunate the Chapter is “to partner with a company that has a strong local presence and a global vision that, through networking and education, can be of great benefit to all of us in these uncertain times.”

This venture is more than just a sponsorship; it is a valued partnership, as Syngenta has already embraced the Chapter’s mission and focus of education to the fullest. “Syngenta looks forward to enhancing its partnership with the Carolinas Chapter managers as the thought leaders and educators of the golf industry. Together we can work toward managing social, economic and environmental issues facing clubs today,” said Stephanie Schwenke, Golf Market Manager, North America at Syngenta. “With our shared vision and commitment to the industry, the time and opportunity is right to embark on a relationship through which we can work together on further developing and growing the club industry.”

As a Gold Sponsor, Syngenta will be the presenting sponsor and facilitator of the Fall Education Program, to be held at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC, on Monday, November 12, 2012.
