All managers are encouraged to attend this panel discussion between our own Carolinas Chapter YoPros and the USC Club Management Students!  Then network with the students before heading to a cocktail event at the Palmetto Club.

 

This event will be held at the Darla Moore School of Business Building (1014 Greene Street, Columbia, SC 29208) in Room 123, which is located on the first floor.  There will be a USC student waiting in the open courtyard of the building providing directions to the classroom. (If you have issues locating this room, call Jessica Chavis 843-907-9001.)

10:45 – 11:45 am                 Eleni Floropoulos – Eleni will be discussing club communications and how they have changed over the past five years; then we will hold roundtables to discuss individual club communication issues.

12:30 – 1:30 pm                   Three Carpenter, CCM – Three will delve into the Power of People and Company Culture in order to help you hire and create Rockstar Employees!

Oz is a former club general manager who now serves as the Director of Resort & Club Management at Methodist University, one of the Carolinas Chapter's Student Chapters. O.Z. will be discussing resume writing and techniques for job prospecting, as well as training, retention, and why employees make the same mistakes over and over again!

 

Eleni Floropoulos, Communications Director, Forsyth Country Club

Eleni has served as Communications Director at Forsyth for five years and has seen changes in effective member communications in that time.  She also served as Digital Media Manager for the YMCA of NWNC for five years.  Eleni has a presentation and will then lead a roundtable discussion of effective communications.
