Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Fitness & Recreation is responsible for the management of the Club's fitness facilities and recreation activities. This individual assists in promoting an exceptional experience and provides creative services and programs for all members. Our goal is to select and begin the training process for this position in March of 2021.

Responsibilities:

• Promote, manage, and market group exercise classes, aquatic programs, and personal training 
• Promote, manage and market recreation programs, including but not limited to croquet, pickleball and tennis
• Assist in planning, promoting, and coordinating family and children's camps
• Perform fitness assessments, lead personal training sessions, conduct a variety of group exercise and aquatic classes
• Assist in the coordination and scheduling of fitness and recreational programming
• Create promotional fitness and recreation email blasts
• Create ongoing and/or seasonal promotions and activities to encourage participation among members and guests
• Observe and evaluate team members' appearance and performance to ensure quality service
• Oversee the safety and maintenance needs of the fitness equipment and pool
• Oversee facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and good working order
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Fitness & Recreation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent benefit package for this full-time, exempt, managerial role.
