Facilities:
Oldfield Club is a private gated club community that features an 18-hole Greg Norman Course, Equestrian Facility, Outfitters Facility with 2 Fishing Captains, 2 Dining Facilities and Sports Club which is home to our fitness facility, aquatic center, and racquet sports courts.

Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is a mid-level managerial position who should be a leader in the dining experience for our members and guests. This person will be expected to lead the F&B service team and successfully coordinate all F&B activities with a strong focus on the necessary details to deliver an exemplary service experience to the members and their guests. The person fulfilling this role should constantly be looking for ways to improve the operation and the team.  

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a professional food and beverage wait staff.  
  • Schedules personnel and plans room set-up based upon anticipated guest counts and needs.
  • Works member and private events to ensure proper execution.
  • Serves as liaison between the service and kitchen staffs.
  • Knowledge of Wine, Beer and Spirits necessary to develop events and menus for member areas. 
  • Certified Wine Knowledge is ideal.
  • Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness, and proper set-up of the dining rooms.
  • Inspects service staff employees to ensure that they are always in proper and clean uniforms.
  • Provides appropriate reports concerning employee hours, schedules, pay rates, job changes, etc.
  • Receives and handles all feedback concerning food, beverages, or service.
  • Ability to work with and program Point of Sale System.

  • This position reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and works closely with Executive Chef, Events Director and all other venue managers when coordinating member events.  

Requirements:

Physical Requirements -

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time.

Additional Requirements - 

  • Certificate or Degree in Hospitality or Business Management is Highly Preferred.
  • Four plus years of experience in a fine dining environment with at least two of those years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working with a Point of Sale dining system, Jonas Preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with individuals and groups.
  • High level of drive and energy.
