Facilities:
The Coral Bay Club is a 62-year-old member-owned facility with 615 members. Gross dollar volume is over $3.4 million with food and beverage volume of over $1.5 million. Facilities include a 26,000 square foot clubhouse with dining and bar areas, game room and locker rooms; 3 HydroGrid tennis courts and restroom facilities; 2 swimming pools and beach facilities; outdoor cabana bar; and boat dock, boat ramp and boat storage area. Dining facilities include an a la carte dining room seating 75, casual grille seating 150, dining terrace and patio seating 150, ballroom seating 300 plus, and a cocktail lounge. All facilities both interior and exterior have been totally renovated in the past few years.

The club is seasonal, open 7 days a week during the summer, 3 days a week in the spring and fall, and is closed January through March. The club is extremely active during season, and most of its membership live elsewhere in North Carolina and also belong to other prestigious private clubs.

Responsibilities:
The Controller reports to the Chief Operating Officer/General Manager. Under supervision and in coordination with the Finance Committee, the Controller develops and administers accounting, budgeting, statistical, auditing and internal control procedures. They maintain the Club's financial records and prepare reports for Committees, Managers and the Board of Directors. This requires an individual whose responsibilities include handling all aspects of the accounting cycle. They must also possess proper communications skills as they work with members and staff every day. 

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years progressive experience in the accounting field with 3 years minimum Controller or equivalent experience. A degree in Accounting is preferred.
